It was a wonderful four week run of HOOPS by Eliana Pipes with original music by B~Free based on my HOOPS Project! The experience of producing a brand new world premiere play was a whirlwind. Never in a million years did I EVER think my art would be turned into a stage play. There’s so much that occurred that it’s so hard to put into words. But now that I have some space to process it, I’ll say that being able to work with a team of skilled, talented, and out of this world stellar people to put bring these beautiful stories to life was a dream. No matter how stressful and soul sucking it was, it was equally as beautiful and cathartic. My hope is that this play gets in front of more audiences and travels throughout the country and maybe even the world! Who knows. To be continued…
